In the silence of the evening, when the lights of the village dim and the ancient stones of the abbey seem to return to the Middle Ages, the Monastery of San Colombano exceptionally opens its doors for a beautiful night guided tour.
A journey of history, art and music through cloisters, ancient monastic environments and centuries-old memories will accompany visitors to discover the daily life of the scribe monks, guardians of medieval knowledge. Among parchments and reproductions of illuminated manuscripts, they will relive the patient work of those who, in the silence of the scriptorium and in the flickering light of candles, copied and preserved fundamental texts of European culture.
