Walking with the herbalist: discovering autumn according to Chinese medicine
Sunday 4 October 2026
For our series “Walking with the herbalist” our Chiara Sbernardori, aka @erboristaifornelli, an expert in energy nutrition according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, we will discover the chestnut in a new light, exploring its phytotherapeutic and nutritional properties and above all its use in the kitchen (with some delicious recipes)!
We will understand why the chestnut tree is nicknamed ‘the bread tree’ and how it was cultivated in the past, representing a fundamental element for the economy of our Apennines.
