“Raising awareness on the issue of breast cancer means doing civic education. But also help people prevent, treat, accept and fight the disease. We believe it is also our task to take action in this regard”. This is how the councilor Ilaria Cilloni and the delegated councilor Valentina Davoli intervene on the initiatives of “October in Pink”, scheduled in Casina on the occasion of the month dedicated to raising awareness of women on the prevention of breast cancer. Several awareness-raising actions organized by the municipal administration, Casa della Cultura di Casina, Cri Italiana, Istituto comprensivo Giorgio Cregori and Lilt (Italian League for the fight against cancer).
All events will be held on Wednesday evening, at 20.30, at the House of Culture, where a series of professionals will address the issue of prevention.

12 October, 8.30 pm: Endometriosis: a social disease. Sara Beltrami, promoter of the petition for the health of all women “Let’s overcome endometriosis”, intervenes.
19 October, 8.30 pm: Home Body Therapy Project. Speakers Giulia Spacone, naturopath and Aurora Tirelli, psychologist and psychotherapist I.F.
26 October, 8.30 pm. Osteopathy for women’s health. With Dr. Luana Romiti, osteopath D.O. M.R.O.I.
October 29. Breast prevention. Free breast cancer prevention visits with self-examination education – by reservation at biblioteca@comune.casina.re.it. Then inauguration of the pink bench in Piazza Agorà, painted by the boys of the Istituto Comprensivo Carpineti-Casina on the occasion of the centenary LILT.
