“A short time for a short story”: this is the title of the mini writing course that Scuola Holden di Torino (founded and directed by the writer Alessandro Baricco), will hold in Borgo Val di Taro on 21 and 22 July.

The collaboration with Scuola Holden was born last year with the Premio La Quara – Concorso letterario Mup Editore, and with this new opportunity it wants to consolidate even more: the teacher of the course will in fact be the writer Pietro Grossi, who then on August 26th will be present again in Borgotaro as a member of the jury of the La Quara Prize.

This is the mission of the course: to write a story in ten hours. In the wake of some of the greatest short story writers, we will sit down and spot an image, then bring it back to paper, center its glowing heart, measure its elements well and turn it into a literary tale.

Registration will be open until July 9, lessons will be held at the reading room of the Manara library on Friday 21 July from 14 to 18 and Saturday 22 July from 10 to 13 and from 15 to 18.
