In Emilia-Romagna, the project “SOS Biodiversity. Mapping of invasive exotic plant species” of the Management Authority for Parks and Biodiversity of Western Emilia, and plans to map a series of invasive plant species, in order to have an exact picture of the phenomenon.

Two events are scheduled to tell the project and explain the work of the participants:

– 27 January 2023 at 7 pm at the headquarters of the Parco dello Stirone e Piacenziano in loc. San Nicomede in Salsomaggiore Terme (PR),

– 3 February 2023 at 7 pm at the headquarters of the Trecasali Torrile Reserve (managed by LIPU) in Trecasali (PR).

From spring, field activities will begin for the mapping of sites (Taro Park, Stirone and Piacenziano Park, Torrile and Trecasali Reserve and Parma Morta Reserve) where invasive species are present.
