On Saturday 7 November, at 10:30 am, the Villa Soragna Cultural Centre in Collecchio will host the inauguration of ‘Steps of freedom’, the travelling exhibition promoted by the Municipality of Collecchio, the SPI CGIL Women’s Coordinations and the Women’s Documentation Centre of Modena.
The exhibition represents an opportunity to meet and reflect on the theme of women’s rights and freedom.
The inauguration will be attended by the Mayor of Collecchio Maristella Galli, the Councilor for Equal Opportunities Anna Gherardi and the Vice-President of the Regional Legislative Assembly Barbara Lori.
The curators of the exhibition, Elena Falciano of the SPI CGIL Reggio Emilia Archive and Photo Library and Caterina Liotti of the Women’s Documentation Center of Modena, will also be present, together with Nadia Ferrari, provincial secretary of SPI CGIL Parma.
To accompany the inaugural moment there will be a live musical event, with the voice of Monica Comelli and the guitar of Luca Valerio, who will enrich the meeting with an artistic contribution.
