A journey through the history of one of the longest-lived and most beloved bands in Italian music.
On Friday 25 September at 9.15 pm, the Sala Cariatidi of the Palazzo dei Congressi in Salsomaggiore Terme will host the show “Musicanti di storie e di canzoni”, a show that tells the story of the Nomads through their songs, encounters, memories and words of those who have experienced that story firsthand.
On stage Beppe Carletti, founder of Nomadi together with the unforgettable Augusto Daolio, and Yuri Cilloni, current voice of the band, accompanied by Marco Caronna, who intertwines music and narration giving life to a real journey through time.
It will not simply be a concert: it will be a spoken concert, a sung talk, a dialogue between words and notes that will retrace the birth and history of songs that have entered the collective memory, from “God is dead” to “Auschwitz”, from “We will not be there” to “Io vagabondo”, passing through meetings and collaborations with great protagonists of Italian music, including Francesco Guccini and Luciano Ligabue.
An evening to get to know what is hidden behind the songs: the people, the emotions, the difficulties, the rebirths and that extraordinary desire to continue to tell and play that, even today, brings the Nomadi on stages all over Italy.
A special event, made up of music, stories and memory, to experience up close a story that continues to resonate generation after generation.
