Forget the usual bar: this time we have an aperitif at the top of Monte Caio!

While the Full Moon peeps out, we will be at the summit to share a toast with friends and enjoy the view. A straight excursion to the point in the Park of the Hundred Lakes, a panoramic toast and that magical atmosphere that only the Apennines at night can give.

Difference in altitude: +/-386 m approx. Length: 8 km

Degree of difficulty: E (hiking, difficulty: medium-easy) – circular route

Meeting point: Saturday 26 September 2026 at 4.30 pm in Schia, in the municipality of Tizzano Val Parma (PR). The precise point will be communicated at the time of registration. Return expected at 21.00.

Required equipment: hiking boots with sculpted sole type Vibram® in good condition, trekking poles, backpack, layered autumn hiking clothing, wind/rain jacket, down jacket/fleece/sweatshirt, hat, 1 l of water or hot drink, snacks, head torch, seat cloth.

At the end of the excursion, for those who wish, we can stop for dinner at the Schia Refuge (à la carte menu, not included in the participation fee).
