A half-day and not too demanding walk through the woods that gave birth to the Porcini Mushroom PGI of Borgotaro, to learn which are the tree species with which the King of the forest is best able to coexist. The expertise of a mycologist will increase our knowledge, explaining and telling us about the lesser-known species of mushrooms that we will encounter in the woods. Turning and turning, we will also encounter important signs of the past, in the woods: traces of known stories and mysterious stories, surrounded by beautiful specimens of chestnut, fir and veteran beech. We will return to the village for lunch: those who wish can thus taste some mushroom-based dishes in Borgotaro.
IMPORTANT: PORCINI MUSHROOMS WILL NOT BE HARVESTED.
The excursion will take place on Saturday 19 September punctual meeting for the departure: at 8.45 am at the Borgotaro (PR) railway station. Excursion departure: at about 9.15 am in loc. Vighini di Borgotaro (PR).
