From the Silara Pass to the Cirone Pass through the spectacular ridge of the Groppi Rossi
From here we will arrive at the locality of La Capanna where we will also find ancient stone testimonies entirely made up of ophiolitic boulders.
We will continue to the Cirone Pass where we will be able to admire the panoramic Church of the Madonna dell’Orsaro and from here, after a packed lunch, we will return to the starting point in a circular route on the Via Longobarda.
Difference in altitude: +/-411 m approximately. Length: 13.6 km
Level of difficulty: E – challenging
Meeting point: Saturday 01 August 2026 at 09.30 am at the Passo del Silara car park, in the municipality of Berceto (PR). Return scheduled at 3.30 pm.
Equipment required: hiking shoes with sculpted soles, kway, layered clothing, trekking poles, packed lunch and personal water supply.
