Starting from the Stella del Bosco Ranch (854 m asl), in Polita di Corniglio (PR) in the Park of the Hundred Lakes, we cross the ancient village with stone houses of the town of Polita to reach the path that leads into the woods. We walk along the ancient and historic path that connected this hamlet to Bosco di Corniglio (used on foot with cows, oxen and horses).

You will be able to admire old dryers now in disuse, we will get to know the surrounding environment with anecdotes about the life that is led in the woods (cutting plants, harvesting chestnuts etc.) until we reach the stream, then among centuries-old trees return to the Ranch always inside the woods.

Level of difficulty: Low : also suitable for beginners – Difference in altitude: 200 m – Walking time: 1 h

Meeting point: Tuesday 02 June 2026 at 10.30 a.m. at the Stella del Bosco Ranch in Polita in the municipality of Corniglio (PR). End of the excursion at 11.30 a.m.

Required equipment: long trousers, shirt and/or short sleeves, riding boots or hiking boots, cap and back protection mandatory up to 18 years of age (also provided by the Ranch)
