This excursion in the Park of the Hundred Lakes will lead you to step on limestone and clayey soils, an ideal place to admire an explosion of colors: daffodils, tulips, buttercups, anemones and orchids sprout fearlessly among the green clearings of this beautiful corner of the Apennines.

Walking through mountain scenery with a view that sweeps from the Parma Valley to Monte Cusna, you can enjoy the tranquility of Lake Bozzo, a natural oasis surrounded by cool beech forests that will lead us to the ophiolite ridge of the Groppi Rossi.

Degree of difficulty: E (Hiking – medium difficulty) – circular route

Meeting point: Sunday 24 May 2026 at 10.00 a.m. at the Silara Pass, in the municipality of Corniglio (PR). End of the excursion: 4.30 pm.

Equipment required: hiking boots with sculpted Vibram® type soles in good condition, poles (recommended but not mandatory), backpack, layered spring hiking clothing, windproof jacket, cape/rain jacket, 1.5 l of water, packed lunch, snacks, hat, sunglasses, protective sunscreen and insect repellent.
