Every year, on the evening of April 30th, the arrival of spring and the month of May is celebrated in Vernasca with an ancient popular tradition:

As tradition dictates, you will go from house to house singing the songs and ancient stornelli of peasant culture, receiving in exchange eggs, bread and genuine products of the earth. There is only one rule to respect: those who do not sing, do not drink wine! Prepare the voice and the basket, and let the begging begin!
