Easter Concert

Saturday 28 March, 9.00 pm in the parish church of Pianello Val Tidone

The concert includes the performance of Antonio Vivaldi’s “Stabat Mater”, one of the composer’s first great sacred vocal works, entrusted to an ensemble of talented musicians under the direction of maestro Marco Fornaciari, who will also take on the role of solo violin.
Alongside Fornaciari, the violinist Antonio De Lorenzi, the violist Lucia Colonna, the cellist Alexander Zyumbrovskiy, the double bass player Leonardo Colonna and the extraordinary voice of the mezzo-soprano Benedetta Mazzetto.

In addition to Vivaldi’s Stabat Mater, the program includes the performance of other pieces:

• H.I.F. Biber from the Sonatas of the SS. Rosary Sonata No. 10 – The Crucifixion
• J.S. Bach Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D minor, BWV 1068, second movement Aria on the fourth string
• A. Vivaldi Concerto in D major for violin and strings
