Saturday 10 January 2026 from 16:00 to 19:00Snowshoeing at sunset to enjoy the pure mountain air on a winter night.

We will walk from the square of Schia in the evening and through the ascent in a splendid beech forest asleep by the snow, between clearings and groves, we will reach the ridge of Caio. From here with a spectacular panoramic stretch we will reach the Corno di Caneto which dominates the Val Cedra and offers the best views of this slice of the Apennines.
The descent to Schia will take place on the side of the slope with the thousand lights of the illuminated plain in front of us.

Around 7.30 pm we will be back at the Piazzale and for those who want the evening will continue to the restaurant – refuge of the Schia campsite where Fabrizio will have prepared a typical mountain dinner for us.

Total difference in altitude: about 150 m ascent and 150 m descent

Degree of difficulty: medium-easy

Meeting point: Saturday 10 January 2026 at 16.00 in Piazzale Noè Bocchi in Schia, in front of Doriano Sport, in the municipality of Tizzano Val Parma (PR). End of the excursion: 7.30 pm.

Required equipment: headlamp if possible, cap, scarf, gloves, boots, and anything else useful for a winter excursion. (Snowshoes not included in the participation fee, can be rented on site with reservation directly to the guide).
