Steps in the greenery to discover the Park of the Hundred Lakes

Sunday 21 September 2025An excursion that is a real journey into the heart of nature, between atmospheres of yesteryear and close encounters with wildlife.

We will start from the Monte Fuso Wildlife Center where we will have the unique opportunity to walk inside the enclosures that house fallow deer, deer and mouflons, observing them closely in a protected and evocative context.

We will then continue along spectacular paths immersed in the woods, among centuries-old beech and chestnut trees to the top of the summit of Monte Fuso, a privileged panoramic point from which to embrace the surrounding valleys and hills with your gaze.

Difference in altitude: 610 meters uphill/610 meters downhill. Hiking distance 13 km

Degree of difficulty: E Hiking (Easy/Medium) Cas T1 and T2 scale

Meeting point: Sunday 21 September 2025 at 09.00 am at the Info Point of the Wildlife Center in Strada Monte Fuso 25/1, in the Municipality of Neviano degli Arduini (PR). Departure of the excursion at 9.30 a.m. and return scheduled at 5.00 p.m.

Required equipment: high-ankle hiking boots with sculpted soles, long pants, layered clothing, rain jacket, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, trekking poles for those who usually use them, and a possible change of clothing, packed lunch.
