There are five traditional dishes of Farini that have the municipal denomination (De.co): potato cake, potato gnocchi, potato polenta, baked and fried potato bread. Simple, poor, tasty and hearty dishes that have never been missing in the homes of the people of Farino. There are many village festivals dedicated to them. Now a new initiative of the Municipality of Farini will try to make these recipes known through a cooking course.

There will be three evening appointments of 3 hours each with the potato as the protagonist, conducted by the gastronome and popularizer Marco Furmenti, Friulian, an expert in the sector and who, together with the municipal administration of Farini and the mayor Marco Paganelli, is analyzing all the production specifications of the five dishes de.co so that they are current and feasible so that the possibility of producing them is not lost.

The course, which has the support of InfoDeco.it, will be held in the kitchen of the Farini town hall in Piazza Marconi.
