The Canosa Historical Re-enactment reaches its 34th edition!
It will take place at the Arena Bosco dell’impero – Ciano d’Enza on September 6, 2025.

5.00 p.m. – Arena Bosco dell’Impero – One step away from History in the medieval village, organized by the Contrade Canossane with villagers and tradesmen, the blacksmith, the falconry, the village of the masters of arms, the house of the brothels, the cerusico between magic and natural remedies.

6.00 p.m. – Departure of the parade of the Historical Parade from the school complex: the Canossane Districts, Matilda of Canossa, Pope Gregory VII, Henry IV, figures and musicians parade to reach the Bosco dell’Impero Arena.

7.00 p.m. – Historical re-enactment and representation of the Forgiveness, Anno Domini 1077.

From 9.00 pm – the History has ended, but the Arena party continues inside the Taverns with good food and drink.
Morrigan’s wake show in concert “group of Celtic, Breton, Irish and Scottish music; The concert is an alternation of dances (jigs, reels, polkas), ballads and slow airs.”

In case of bad weather the event will be canceled.
