The taste of the typical flavors of the Food Valley and its culture in a land rich in history, in the name of tradition but with a pinch of innovation and the pleasure of having fun together, with many events for adults and children.
All of this is
“December with Taste”,
the appetizing event now in its second edition organized by the Tourist Service of the Unione Pedemontana Parmense in collaboration with the Pro loco and many other lively associations, which from 3 to 10 December 2023 will take place in the municipalities of the “
Valli di Parma”
of Sala Baganza, Collecchio, Traversetolo and Felino.
The first stage of “ December with Taste” will be on Sunday, December 3rd in Sala Baganza, with ” Dolce Rocca”, the exhibition-market with tastings and sale of wines and bakery and pastry products typical of Christmas, lunch in the square with the “longest Cotechino in the province”, shows, games and street artists. The day will end with the “Orbit” light and sound show and the lighting of the Christmas Tree.
The second appointment will be Friday 8 December at Hotels in Collecchiowith “Enjoy Christmas”, a day dedicated to the Christmas table and the taste of tradition inside the tensile structure in Viale Saragat of the InTenso Festival: tastings of typical products and wines, cooking show, a market exhibition and, for adults, a free workshop for adults to create a Christmas centerpiece and other activities for children. Finally, a book of Christmas recipes will be presented, after which we will arrive at the long-awaited lighting of the tree.
On the weekend of Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th, “December with Taste” will be in Traversetolo with “TravesetoloGolosa”, the two-day event of tastings, ancient games, shows and entertainment for everyone. An exhibition-market of virtuous artisans of taste in Corte Agresti and a selection of food and wine stands curated by local associations in Piazza Fanfulla. An invitation to savor the delicacies of the area and rediscover the ancient taste of being together.
The festival will close on Sunday, December 10 in Piazza Miodini in Felino and in the streets of the center with
“FeliNoël”,
which will offer quality markets for clothing, accessories, objects and craftsmen, as well as food stands and small agricultural producers. Children will be able to participate in the workshop to decorate Christmas trees, while for adults there will be a competition to make the most beautiful tree complete with an award ceremony. Merchants will instead participate in the challenge for the “Best Christmas Showcase”. Finally, there will be entertainment events for children, music and shows.
