Saturday, December 4 at 11 am at the Volumnia Gallery in Piacenza will be held by Leonardo Bragalini the presentation of the work “A religious mission on the Apennines”, a canvas painted by the great artist Stefano Bruzzi from Piacenza between 1875 and 1876.
The beautiful painting portrays a landscape of the upper Val Nure: in this case it is the bed of the stream near Farini d’Olmo, the scene of a religious procession of “rogazione”, that is propitiatory prayer to the activities of farmers and breeders of the valley.
