Sunday 30 October 2022 from 9 am and throughout the day at the Cementirossi Sports Center in Ponte dell’Olio first race of the Emilia Romagna circuit of Mantrailing, which is part of the OPES Cinofilia National Competitions.
Event open to the public who will be able to attend as an auditor (free admission) to the rehearsals / performances of the pairs (dog / handler) registered.
Mantrailing is a cynotechnical discipline in which the dog through the nose identifies and follows the path taken by a person coming to find him: a practice for the search for missing individuals.
To host and organize the regional event, the Sirio Cinotecnico center of Torrano (Ponte dell’Olio), affiliated with OPES, whose president and dog trainer Irene Mannino is the regional referent for the discipline. Judge of the competition will be one of the most important names in the sector: Giuseppe Brini, advanced educator, instructor judge and national trainer for OPES Italia Cinofilia in the discipline, dog trainer ENCI, member of the national department Mantrailing sport and co-founder of Mantrailing Italia for the search for missing persons, who from Bergamo brings to Piacenza all his experience as an instructor unit molecular dogs.
Ponte dell’Olio will be the first of the six races of the Emilia Romagna circuit that will take place from September until the end of the sporting year. At each race you acquire a score based on difficulty level (there are four, classified as MTOPES1, MTOPES2, MTOPES3 and MTOPES4) and size of the dog: sizes S and M compete with each other, as well as the L and XL “. At the final, which will be held at the end of the championship, the first three classified of each region for each level and size will arrive.
