On November 17, 2022 Il Bosco del Molino, the forest and cultural ecosystem created exactly one year ago in Collecchio (Parma) by Agugiaro & Figna Molini in collaboration with Cinsa (National Interuniversity Consortium of Environmental Sciences) will host the first edition of the “Science International Open Day – Bosco del Molino”.
From Stockholm, a team of Swedish researchers from the most important national research body has selected the Collecchio site as the fourth pilot site together with Czechia, Qatar and Thailand. The soils of the forest planted on an area of 13 hectares adjacent to the headquarters of the historic milling company in Collecchio (Parma), will provide useful and fundamental information for research dedicated to corrosion on metals aimed at securing large metal infrastructures such as buildings, bridges, gas pipelines.
The Bosco del Molino has been chosen as an international Case History also for the Environmental Education activities in favor of local schools that will be financially supported by RISE in Stockholm.
Here is the program of the Science International Open Day – Bosco del Molino that
will take place on November 17, 2022 in Collecchio (PR):
