The Sojasun Verdi Marathon, the international marathon that runs through the places that gave birth to Giuseppe Verdi, returns on Sunday 26 February 2023 for its 24th edition

The race starts from Salsomaggiore, reaches Fidenza, passes through Fontanellato (half marathon), continues to Soragna and Roncole Verdi, and ends in Busseto, in Piazza Giuseppe Verdi, just below the statue of the Maestro.
The route of the Verdi Marathon winds through places rich in history: Salsomaggiore, famous for its thermal waters, the castles of Fontanellato and Soragna; it passes through the Francigeno crossroads of Fidenza and of course through the small hamlet of Roncole Verdi, where Verdi was born.

To accompany the runners along the 30 km of the race, the immortal arias of Verdi’s operas, spread through amplifiers scattered throughout the journey.
But also the half marathon and a competitive and non-competitive 10 km race
