The Croara Country Club is located in a hilly area that is positively affected by the temperate climate of nearby Liguria.
The particularly favorable position of the route, half placed on the alluvial deposits of the Trebbia river and the other half lying on the hills of the first Apennine offshoots, gives it characteristics of continuous variety of landscapes and game situations.
The result is 18 very technical holes, with medium-narrow fairways, bordered by oaks, chestnuts, poplars, locust trees and the fascinating scenery along the river, on which long strokes alternate with others that are particularly delicate.
The course has already been consecrated by a high-level international event such as the first Italian Women’s Open.
TECHNICAL DATA: 18 holes, par 72, 6,065 meters, the first nine inaugurated in 1975 on a design by Buratti, the second nine inaugurated in 1983 on a design by Croze and Lo Cascio.
