A program on Endu Channel hosted by Justine Mattera shows 40 cycle-routes on our trails

Boom for bike tourism, in particular mountain biking, which has seen a huge increase in the Reggio Apennines with guides and operators in the last three years.

The project ‘Appennino reggiano bike’ (www.appenninoreggianobike.it) of the Union of Municipalities of the Reggio Apennines, was born to intercept and coordinate this tourist movement that today is part of the broader project on the theme of cycling tourism of tourist destination ‘Emilia Bike experience’ which sees the release of a television program on the Endu Channel network, also available on youtube, with the presenter Justine Mattera, who wants to make our Apennines known as a destination for sustainable tourism also by mtb or e-bike, where landscape, sport and hospitality come together, where you can discover history, gastronomy and beauty of the area.

In the program you can see only two of the 40 active routes in the Reggio Apennines, ranging from Succiso to Cusna, from Toano to Vetto, passing through Ligonchio, Cervarezza, Marola and the Pietra di Bismantova, together with the circuit formed by structures, specialized guides and fundamental services to build a real tourist product, which can respond to all the needs of off-road bike lovers with the opportunity to find stopping and refreshment points.

An official bike-friendly regulation has been established that will make official what in recent years has already been started with a first nucleus of operators, but not only: the goal is to raise awareness of the territory towards this tourist target in order to extend and grow the offer, given that the demand to date exceeds it.
