It is called ‘Voli di un Baro’ and is the first literary work by Corrado Barozzi, an author originally from Baiso and former employee of a prestigious multinational in our province, now retired. Good goalkeeper arrived up to Serie D with Roteglia (hence the reference to the ‘flights’ …) and father of Filippo, current sports director of Pallacanestro Reggiana, has always cultivated in parallel also the passion for poetry that now has officially put ‘black on white’ for a praiseworthy purpose, given that the proceeds from the sale of the book (published by Bertani and C.) will be donated to the ‘Core’, The oncohematological center of our city. It is a collection of poems and free thoughts, enclosed in three large chapters (Love, Humanity and Nature) in which the author – together with the photographic contributions of Andrea Frassinetti – gives free rein to his sensitivity, memories and imagination, recreating very suggestive introspective atmospheres and often linked to the meaning of human existence and its earthly path.
The result is a varied work, but with a common thread studded with colors, sounds and feelings that blend continuously with the natural elements of the surrounding world. Emotion and emotion, these are the two ‘banks’ of the communicative flow from which the author seems to bounce. The book (15 euros) is on sale at the newsstand ‘Bar Sport’ in Baiso, ‘Tabaccheria Bizzarri’ and ‘Bar Trattoria da Gianni’ in Carpineti, newsstand ‘Linus’ in Viano, tobacconist ‘Casa del Giocattolo’ in Castellarano and newsstand ‘Stazione’ in Scandiano.
