The walk is part of the tour, which stage after stage, wants to touch the municipalities of the province, in the company of professionals of the oncology area of Parma, combining the discovery of the territory with a message of health and well-being, winding along the path of the Mills of FelinoOf Barboj in Lesignano de’ Bagniof Taro bank between Fornovo and Medesano.

The initiative is promoted by the campaign “Together with you” in favor of the Oncology Center of Parma, flanked by the Parma Union of Industrialists and Munus Community Foundation, and wants to offer citizens a moment of well-being and companies that will join, thus becoming “Friendly Companies”, a unique opportunity to carry out a corporate welfare initiative. Numerous “friendly companies” participated in the last edition involving their employees in a prevention activity. Because, as the oncological professionals of Maggiore have reiterated and as scientific research shows, physical activity is the main engine of well-being.

The Health Walks met with the collaboration of the Administrations of the territories of Feline, Lesignano de’ Bagni, Fornovo and Medesano who have offered an active contribution through the Pro Loco and the involvement of voluntary associations, in particular The Angels; Natura e Vita, Circolo Gruppo Amici Rivalta, AV Collecchio and AV Langhirano.

Behind the tape of the symbolic departure – the day of the presentation of the initiative – the general director of the University Hospital of Parma and extraordinary commissioner Ausl Massimo Fabi flanked by the health director ff and director of Radiotherapy Nunziata D’Abbiero and the Director of Medical Oncology Francesco Leonardi, with the president of Munus Giorgio Delsante.
