On Sunday, November 5th, the second appointment of “Reading the Woods” is back: an excursion organized by the Cosmonauts association to bring adults and children closer to the forest heritage of the area.
Leading the walk, from Perino along the paths of Monte Armelio to discover and read the rich forest heritage, will be Lisa Pagani – environmental hiking guide.
Program of the day:
9.30 a.m. meeting at the Perino car park, Coli (PC)
From 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. guided hike with stops for explanations/debates on the theme of “forest”
12.30 p.m. packed lunch
About 3.00 p.m. return to the cars
Technical details of the route:
Length: 10 km
Difference in altitude: +400m
The route is suitable for both adults and children (from 8 years old), no particular physical preparation is required as the excursion includes many moments of rest with explanations.
Equipment required: shoes/boots with sculpted soles (no sneakers) – water, at least 1.5 litres per person – packed lunch – layered clothing, appropriate to the weather conditions – windproof/rainproof jacket – a change of clothes recommended to keep in the car
Shared trip: for those who want to share the trip, it will be possible to get in touch (subject to authorization to use personal data) with other participants to agree on the passages/meeting place.
