Short and relaxing evening walk along the first stretch of the Art Trail. The bulk of the castle of Torrechiara will watch over our steps along the way, and the fresh air of the hill will leave the heat of the city behind us: a propitious moment for a refreshing stop at one of the local wineries, for a snack and a glass of wine. Return through the vineyards under the blanket of the starry sky.

Itinerary: Torrechiara 220 m – Castle of Torrechiara 270 m – path 741 – Strada della Nave – Cantina Lamoretti 260 m – Sendiero d’Arte – Castle of Torrechiara 270 m – Torrechiara 220 m.

Total distance: about 4.5 km.

Total height differences: 100 m uphill, 100 m downhill (loop)

Degree of difficulty: Easy – Estimated travel time (excluding stops): 2.30 hours

Meeting point: Thursday 13 July 2023 at 7.00 pm in Piazza Leoni, Torrechiara (Langhirano PR). End of excursion: 10.30 pm.

Recommended equipment: Hiking shoes and clothing, backpack, water (at least 0.5 l per person), headgear, fleece and / or windproof jacket, insect repellent, charged and working headlamp; snack for those who do not want to stop in the cellar. Recommended an additional garment for the evening.
