Saturday, October 7 the cultural event will be hosted at the church of San Pietro Apostolo in Porcigatone, Municipality of Borgo Val di Taro (PR).

At 10 am guided tour of the church of San Pietro Apostolo, which houses the seventeenth-century painting of the Crucifixion

At 10:30 am the excursion will start with the tourist and environmental guide Giacomo Galli, which will lead to the discovery of the historical combination of man and environment, thanks to a walk in nature with attention to rural architecture and geological aspects of the territory (duration about two and a half hours, advance booking required).

At 10.30 am, for the little ones, the Manara Library of Borgo Val Di Taro will take care of some exciting readings for children.

At 13.00, a small tasting will be offered to the participants of the day.

At 2 pm, it will be possible to take part in an engaging guided tour, designed and structured specifically for children and families: a narration, in which there will be small playful moments, which will allow you to immerse yourself in the spirit of ancient pilgrims. The experience will end with an educational workshop in which children can discover and apply the executive technique used by Lanfranco to create his painting, four hundred years ago.

At 3.30 pm, the day of “Di Pieve in Pieve” will end with spontaneous choirs from the Alta Val Taro, who will perform traditional songs of the territory. All cultural events are designed to assume a wide and greater responsibility towards the territory, and are aimed at being an engine for development based on the recognition of tangible and intangible cultural heritage as a resource.

The appointment in Porcigatone is included in the program for the promotion of artistic languages and in-depth events on the theme of contemporary promoted by Rete Cultura Piacenza, with the contribution of Fondazione Cariparma, the patronage of the Municipality of Borgo Val di Taro and the organization of CoolTour s.c, which thanks the parish priest Don Angelo Busi and Don Roberto Ponzini for the welcome and collaboration.
