Tuesday, August 1, 2023The Moon reaches Perigee, the closest point to the earth during its orbit, in the month of August which, this year will have two Full Moons; the Wheat Moon, thus also becomes “Supermoon”! We will meet to observe the lunar surface with the Telescope to “navigate” the Sea of Tranquility, the Sea of Serenity and the Sea of Clouds. There will be astronomical information, but it will also be an opportunity to learn about myths and legends related to the moon and visible constellations; the sunset will be embellished with beautiful views of the Castle of Torrechiara, the Alpe di Succiso, the Val Parma and the Val Baganza.

And at the end you will receive the photo from the Supermoon telescope that you have seen!
