On December 8th at the center of Villa Minozzo, the inauguration of the Borgo di Santa Claus that will continue throughout the month of December enveloping the mountain in an atmosphere of joy and celebration.

The start is scheduled for 15.00 where banquets of local crafts, books, objects and products at Km 0 will accompany the associations of Telethon, the local Parish and Green Cross. In the stand of the ProLoco of Villa Minozzo there will be a refreshment point with mulled wine, beer and hot sandwiches in addition to the inevitable cotton candy and the Haribo point with many sweets available.

An important novelty is given by the participation of the Social Center, which for a couple of years has been actively collaborating with the Local Authority and the ProLoco carrying out cultural initiatives and, as in this case, manuals: from the skills of the ladies participating in the initiative were born handmade products unique in their kind; some will be put up for sale, others will be used to decorate the 5-meter tree placed in front of Santa’s house.

In addition to fun, good food and the market, there is no lack of solidarity: the ProLoco of Villa Minozzo has announced a “collection of gifts for the needy”. The initiative is simple: just take any box, put five objects, wrap it and write if the recipient is man, woman or child, then deliver it to the village or to the headquarters of the ProLoco. The gift will be given to a needy person who lives in the Apennines.
