Thursday, August 18 the Festival arrives in Caminata, in the upper Val Tidone: in Piazza del Popolo (or in the church of Genepreto in case of bad weather) at 9.15 pm the concert of Area Sud accompanied by Enerbia is scheduled.

“Night music: songs of love and cradle” is the title of the evening, which intends to propose a collection of lullabies, serenades of love and other songs related to the theme of the night.

To perform for the occasion will be the Area Sud: born in 2010, the quartet performs traditional music mainly related to Sicilian and Calabrian cultures.

The group is formed by Franco Barbanera (friscalettu, bagpipe, Galician gaita), Marco Carnemolla (bass, vocals), Maurizio Cuzzocrea (chitarra battente, marranzano, tambourine, vocals) and Mario Gulisano (tambourines, cajon, marranzano, vocals).
