spiaggia della Chiesetta di Brugnello

Transparent waters and white sand.
No, we are not in a paradisiacal Caribbean beach, but in the heart of Val Trebbia. Here, in the municipality of Brugnello, there is a white beach that is a true wonder of Nature.
It is called the Church because a medieval church dominates it from above, it is located in the province of Piacenza, a stone’s throw from Bobbio.
In this corner of the Trebbia Valley, the homonymous river is forced to make a soft curve, where it forms a white beach that is a real enchantment for the eyes and the soul.

This paradise is the ideal place to enjoy a trip out of town in style, while remaining comfortably a stone’s throw from the city. A place to rediscover your most authentic contact with nature, immersing yourself in the crystal clear water of a river: this is the perfect place to take refuge to fight and defeat the humid heat of summer and to enjoy real moments of relaxation.

After a fabulous day at the beach it is definitely worth visiting Brugnello, one of the most beautiful villages in Emilia Romagna.
It is perched on a spur of rock and very few people live in the village.
Worth a visit is the old town with the stone houses, carved from the surrounding rock, some have even been built inside the rock itself.
The buildings have been restored by the artists who went to live there and who decorated and colored the village.
From the terrace of the church the view overlooks the beach and the sinuous curve of the Trebbia.
A real gem of Val Trebbia… Absolutely not to be missed! ????
