We count among the most famous attractions of Val Ceno, the Castle of Bardi, a splendid and impregnable fortress well preserved and dominating the valley, the Castle of Varano, a very solid manor in the Lower Val Ceno and also what remains of the Castles of Varsi and Vianino, and of the countless small disappeared castles whose ruins are located in the woods.

Here they drink not only horses during grazing, but also wild animals such as roe deer, wild boars, hares, squirrels, pheasants, partridges. The area is rich in mineral varieties and characterized by Red and Black Jasper. The Valcenese economy has a productive impact on a human scale, its economy is still very much based on agriculture, the production of Parmigiano Reggiano, crafts, catering and accommodation, small and medium-sized enterprises.
