Madoi - Museo all'aperto nell'Alta Val Parma

Madoi is a thematic path of the Park of the Hundred Lakes, focused on the frescoes created by the artist Walter Madoi in the village of Lower Sixth in the early 60s. The goal he pursued in creating these murals was to make the village of Sesto always alive and full of figures, making it a center of tourist and artistic attraction.
Along the village, within which a thematic path is indicated, it is possible to scroll through the images that the artist bequeathed to the place he had loved so much in the sixties and seventies. Madoi, during his business stays in Sesta, stayed at the house called Il Ventoso, today the central point of the open-air museum.

The itinerary touches all the frescoes made by Walter Madoi on the external walls of the buildings, through their descriptions and insights, the biographical events of the artist, the relationship with the village and the inhabitants of Sesta Inferiore.
